Parry Custom Homes, a local Pittsburgh on your lot builder, is excited to announce their new design center! This wonderful new design center provides the opportunity for homebuyers in Washington County and Southwestern, PA to build a quality home on their lot with the Parry quality standards.

Parry Custom Homes is expanding into Washington County and the surrounding 50-mile radius, and will be kicking off their expansion with this new Showroom and Design Center on Route 19 in South Strabane in the spring of 2015.

If you are a Washington County homebuyer, you can now build a custom built home with a local family owned homebuilder. Parry Homes can build homes starting from the 170’s with a simple streamlined process to make it easy on for homebuyers.

The official grand opening of the Parry Custom Homes Showroom and Design Center will be held on March 5th. The new Parry Showroom will be located at the Old Mill Shopping Plaza. The hours for our new showroom will be Monday-Thursday from 12-6pm, Friday 12-4pm and Saturday from 10am-2pm.

For those of you who may be just learning about Parry Custom Homes, Parry is a local family owned builder, based out of North Huntington, Westmoreland County. The Parry Family has been building custom homes for over 20 years and has built hundred of homes around the Pittsburgh suburbs.

Zombies are among the year’s hottest horror stars. If you are into the zombie craze, why not do your part to protect the human race at Three Rivers Paintball’s Zombies Of The Corn event on this final night of October- Halloween! You’ll board an official Zombie Fighting Vehicles and embark on a terrifying journey through a corn maze swarming with zombies where you’ll fend off crowds of zombies and other haunting creatures via paintball attacks. You’ll be dropped off in the midst of a haunted corn maze midway through your mission, so those easily scared be fair warned! Adult tickets are $25 and include free parking, 150 zombie-killing paintballs, a zombie shoot ride and corn maze experience and ghost stories by the campfire.

The weekend is quickly approaching, do you have plans yet? If you are looking to take a break from looking for new homes in Pittsburgh, Parry Custom Homes showcases some fun things going on around town this weekend!

For those of you who are beer connoisseurs, Pittsburgh’s classic Penn Brewery Oktoberfest is going on this weekend! This Friday through Sunday enjoy Penn beer, German food, and live oompah music that is sure to entertain as always!

This event runs 5pm-midnight on Friday and Saturday (over 21 after 8pm) and from 4-10 pm on Sunday. General admission is free and there are VIP packages available for presale for $30. Visit the website for more information on this event!

For more food and fun, this Saturday check out Penn’s Colony Festival & Folk Art Marketplace. This fun event features artists and musical entertainment, reminiscent of the historic time period of the French and Indian war.

This event is held in Saxonburg, Butler County, and is celebrating its 29th year! This event is set on 12 easy walking, tree shaded areas and Penn’s Colony does a fantastic job in bringing history to life.

For the ladies, do you want to do something active, or something fun to do with your girlfriends? Belly Dance Fitness has a fun class TONIGHT! Start off the weekend early with this fun way to get in a great workout while having fun with friends.

Held most Thursday evenings at 6:30, at the Trust Arts Education Center. Whether your are a beginner or a seasoned pro, these classes will give you the opportunity to learn belly dance techniques and drills, including traveling combinations, muscle isolation, and fluid movements.

In addition to dance, these dancing techniques provide a form of fun exercise that will burn calories and get you in shape!
